About TPF
The Pioneer Forest (TPF) is an independent, community-driven environmental initiative within the Pi Network ecosystem, operated by egal42. It is not affiliated with or endorsed by the Pi Core Team. Contact: egal42.pi@gmail.com.
Participation and Pi Network
TPF services are primarily intended for Pi Network participants. Some functions require Pi authentication or a Pi Wallet. Pi Network manages its own account verification and KYC procedures; ordinary Pi authentication does not provide TPF with identity documents or necessarily confirm a user’s KYC status. Participants must comply with applicable law and platform rules.
Wallet security
TPF never asks for your Pi Wallet passphrase or private keys. Only enter your passphrase in the official Pi Wallet accessed through Pi Browser. Do not share it with anyone claiming to represent TPF.
Contributions and payments
TPF already accepts direct Mainnet Pi wallet contributions. The Pioneer Forest Project app currently uses Pi Testnet for payment testing; Testnet Pi is not a real Mainnet contribution. If Mainnet in-app payments are introduced, the applicable purpose and amount should be shown before confirmation. Blockchain transfers may be irreversible at network level, but this does not remove applicable legal remedies or consumer rights.
The Pioneer Forest FairFun
FairFun is available as a preview. Points and milestones show your activity progress. They have no monetary value and cannot currently be redeemed for Pi, trees, CO₂ rewards or other benefits. Preview progress may be reset as FairFun develops. If rewards become available, we will publish the eligibility and redemption rules before that programme opens.
The FairFun preview has no in-app payments.
Environmental activity and transparency
TPF supports tree planting, reforestation and related environmental projects through independent providers. Project availability, methodology and outcomes vary. Unless an offer expressly says otherwise, participation does not grant ownership of trees, land, carbon credits, financial returns or governance rights. See Transparency & Scope for the project’s public reporting approach.
Partner Pools
Partner Pools have specific environmental backing and allocation rules set out in the relevant pool information. Partners may allocate benefits to eligible participants according to those rules. Public pool records may describe backing, allocations and remaining balances.
Digital products and other offers
Where TPF offers a digital product or other paid item, the specific offer describes what is supplied, the price and relevant conditions. A purchase is distinct from a voluntary contribution. Applicable mandatory consumer information, cancellation rights and other statutory protections remain in effect.
Errors, refunds and support
For failed, duplicate or incorrect transactions, contact egal42.pi@gmail.com with the relevant payment or transaction reference. Corrections, refunds and other remedies are handled according to the circumstances and applicable law.
Public records and privacy
TPF may publish transaction references, environmental verification and optional contributor attribution. An authenticated Pi username is not automatically published together with a wallet address. Public blockchain information remains independently accessible. See the Privacy Policy.
Availability and changes
TPF services may change and may depend on external platforms and environmental providers. Continuous availability is not guaranteed. These Terms may be updated; material changes will be communicated where required. Nothing here limits liability or rights that cannot legally be excluded.
